Argh ... Dude! That movie SUCKS!! I'd only watch it again if I were into bondage and masichism, because that was what all the movie was about. If someone's gonna make a story into a movie that's been done over and over, and everyone, I mean EVERYONE, knows the story ... they got to have something new to say or have a new idea or opinion. Then what would be the difference between pornogrophy and that? Only a bigger budget?

That movie is only advertising one individual's pain and sells it as religion ...

The funny part is that I've heard of some of the big fans of Christ loving that movie, which means they loved watching him being tortured for 2 hours! lol

What can we add to the story? Everything! Because you know what? There is NO solid documentation that could prove he even really existed! All we got are second or third hand (or worse) stories and tails from people who weren't there or even alive at the time, and some of them even contradict one another ... You can say the same thing about any famouse fantasy character, yet we've seen so many different versions of them being made and remade again.
And my point was that the movie does not have a story! It's just 2 hours of someone getting tortured, about which I can say that it wasn't that realistic either ... after so much blood lost and pain a person would most likely go unconscious or too weak to even stand. So there's exageration in the moive which gives you the idea that the whole point of the moive is to show you the torture .. nothing else.
If I were interested in that there're other types of videos and movies even in form of documentaries that I could lay my hands on. I don't need someone like Mel Gibson to prove to me how pointless of a movie he can make or how much he wants to advertise for what he believes with spending so much money.
